The Potter family has just moved to a rented apartment in San Francisco. Harry Potter Sr. and his wife Anne are bringing the packages to the apartment while their son Harry Jr. and their little daughter Wendy Anne stay on the sidewalk. Wendy goes to the laundry room, where she meets the wicked troll Torok. Using his magic ring, Torok possesses Wendy and transforms her into a vessel to turn the dwellers and their apartment into other trolls and his kingdom. Harry Jr. notices something is wrong with his sister and seeks help from the good witch Eunice St. Clair, who lives in the building. Eunice, armed with her knowledge of magic, assists Harry Jr. in battling Torok and restoring the apartment and its inhabitants to their normal forms. The story highlights themes of courage and the battle between good and evil.
