剧情简介： 万国鹏大学毕业后，带着成为一名演员的梦想，只身来到浙江横店， hoping to carve out a niche for himself in this competitive industry. However, the harsh reality of the " survival of the fittest" world soon hits him hard. Despite his passion for acting, his initial attempts to break into the industry are met with numerous failures and setbacks. Eventually, through persistence, he manages to establish himself as a professional extra, working behind the scenes in various film productions. During his time in Hengdian, he encounters numerous young individuals like himself, each with their own aspirations and struggles. Some achieve success and realize their dreams, while others succumb to temptation and ruin their lives. The majority, however, after enduring immense hardship, eventually abandon their aspirations and return to their mundane lives. One day, he meets Wang Ting, portrayed by actress Wang Ting, a girl who seems to bring light into his life. Their relationship begins to blossom, and they support each other through the trials and tribulations of pursuing their respective careers. The film also features Shen Kai, who plays a supporting role as a director in the movie, who assists Wang Guopeng in securing a breakthrough opportunity in the industry. Together, they navigate the challenges of the film industry, facing numerous trials and tribulations, but ultimately, their hard work and perseverance pay off, leading to their eventual success and recognition in the field.
