Directed by Ryoichi Yabu and Takeshi山崎, the film is based on the fourth volume of the original manga, "奶奶的回忆" (Granny's Memories). The story follows Doraemon and his human friend, 大雄, as they embark on a time-travel adventure to revisit 大雄's grandmother's past. Using the时光机, they journey back to the 1960s to meet 大雄's grandmother, 太阳, and uncover the emotional and nostalgic memories tied to her. Through their journey, 大雄 learns the value of cherish and understand the significance of his own family history. The film aims to capture the heartwarming and bittersweet essence of the original manga while introducing new elements to honor the legacy of Doraemon and his adventures.
