剧情简介： 拾儿（元彪饰）自幼被老道士（午马饰）在河边的一个木盆中发现，成为他的义子并被抚养成人。从小跟随老道士学习捉鬼降妖之术的拾儿，与尘世联系不多，唯一的知己是书生崔书生（吴启华饰）。Meanwhile, the Demon King (Li Meifeng饰) is a notorious evildoer who often abducts innocent girls and takes them to the underworld. Among his victims is a young girl named Mu Cao, who was kidnapped on her wedding day and became a tormented ghost under the Demon King's control. Cui Shisheng encounters Mo Chou (Wang Zuxian饰), who can manifest herself in a painting, and becomes enamored with her graceful and charming appearance. However, the Demon King refuses to release Mo Chou, leading Cui Shisheng to attempt to rescue her. His efforts backfire when he is captured by the Demon King himself. Desperate to save his friend, Shi Er seeks help from the Old Taoist, but the Old Taoist, who adheres strictly to his ascetic ways and refuses to intervene in worldly matters, initially refuses to assist. In the end, through a combination of courage and cleverness, Shi Er manages to rescue Cui Shisheng with the guidance of the Old Taoist, ultimately defeating the Demon King and freeing Mo Chou from her torment.
